Terms of Service

RNF Cleaning  |  Effective Date: August 30, 2026  |  Last Updated: August 30, 2026

Welcome to RNF Cleaning. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the cleaning services we provide. In these Terms, “RNF Cleaning,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to RNF Cleaning, and “you,” “your,” and “Client” refer to the person or business requesting or receiving our services.

By booking a service, requesting a quote, using our website, or otherwise engaging with RNF Cleaning, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our website or book our services.

1. Services We Provide

RNF Cleaning provides residential and commercial cleaning services, which may include recurring cleanings, one-time cleanings, deep cleanings, move-in and move-out cleanings, and other services described at the time of booking.

The specific scope of work for your property is agreed upon when you book. Anything not expressly included in that agreed scope is considered an add-on service and may require additional time and cost. We will always discuss pricing changes with you before performing extra work.

2. Booking, Scheduling & Arrival Windows

Appointments may be booked by phone, text, email, or through our online booking form. A booking is confirmed once we have provided confirmation to you directly.

  • We schedule using arrival windows rather than exact times. Traffic, weather, and the condition of prior jobs can shift arrival times.
  • If we expect to fall meaningfully outside your window, we will contact you at the number or email you provided.
  • Recurring clients are generally held in a consistent day and time slot, but we may occasionally need to adjust for holidays or scheduling conflicts.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Quotes are based on the information you provide about the property, including square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, general condition, pets, and the type of cleaning requested.

  • Quotes provided before an in-person walkthrough are estimates, not fixed prices.
  • If the actual condition, size, or scope of the property differs substantially from what was described, we will contact you to revise the price before proceeding or continuing.
  • Homes requiring excessive clutter removal, heavy buildup, post-construction debris, or hoarding-level conditions will be quoted separately.
  • Prices for recurring service may be adjusted with reasonable advance notice to you.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless we have agreed to other terms in writing.
  • We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking. Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • A card on file may be required to hold recurring appointments.
  • Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee, and service may be paused until the balance is cleared.
  • Returned or declined payments may incur a processing fee.
  • Accounts more than 45 days past due may be referred to a collections service, and you may be responsible for reasonable collection costs.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Lockouts

We reserve time, staff, and travel specifically for your appointment. Please give us as much notice as possible if plans change.

  • Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival window are free of charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.
  • Lockouts — if our team arrives and cannot access the property, is turned away, or cannot safely perform the work — may be charged at up to 100% of the scheduled service price.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in the loss of a recurring time slot.
  • We may cancel or reschedule an appointment due to severe weather, illness, staffing emergencies, or unsafe conditions. In those cases, no fee is charged and we will offer the next available time.

6. Access to Your Property

You are responsible for providing safe, reliable access to the property at the scheduled time. This may include a key, lockbox code, garage code, gate code, alarm code, or arranging to be present.

  • Any keys or access codes you share with us are kept secure and used only to perform your service.
  • Please notify us in advance of any change to codes, locks, or alarm systems. Charges resulting from an alarm we could not disarm because of outdated information are your responsibility.
  • If other contractors, guests, or family members are working in the home during our visit, we may not be able to complete the full scope of service in the time allotted.

7. Client Responsibilities

To help us deliver the best possible result, we ask that you:

  • Pick up personal items and general clutter from floors, counters, and surfaces before we arrive. Our team cleans surfaces, and we do not organize personal belongings unless that has been booked as an add-on.
  • Secure valuables, cash, jewelry, firearms, medication, and irreplaceable items before each visit.
  • Secure pets that may be anxious, aggressive, or prone to escaping. We love animals, but our team cannot work safely around an unsecured aggressive pet, and we may need to leave and treat the visit as a lockout.
  • Tell us in advance about fragile items, delicate surfaces, unfinished or specialty flooring, antiques, or anything you would prefer we skip entirely.
  • Ensure working utilities — running water, electricity, and reasonable climate control — are available at the property.

8. Services We Do Not Perform

For the safety of our team and the protection of your property, RNF Cleaning does not provide the following:

  • Removal of biohazards, including human or animal waste, bodily fluids, blood, needles, or sewage backups
  • Mold remediation, pest infestation cleanup, or removal of rodent or insect droppings
  • Cleanup of drug residue, chemical spills, or hazardous materials
  • Work requiring ladders beyond a standard two-step stool, or any work at heights
  • Exterior window cleaning above the ground floor
  • Lifting or moving furniture, appliances, or objects heavier than approximately 25 pounds
  • Cleaning inside curio cabinets, or handling antiques, artwork, and collectibles
  • Pet waste cleanup, litter box emptying beyond routine surface cleaning, or animal care
  • Laundry, dishes, childcare, or errands, unless specifically arranged in advance
  • Any task our team judges to be unsafe or outside their training

If we encounter any of the above on site, we will pause, contact you, and adjust the scope of the visit.

9. Satisfaction & Re-Clean Policy

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with any area we cleaned, contact us within 24 hours of your service and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no charge.

Because we cannot verify concerns raised after the property has been used for an extended period, requests made more than 24 hours after service may not qualify for a complimentary re-clean. Re-cleans are limited to the scope of work originally booked.

10. Damage, Breakage & Loss

Our team treats every home with care, but accidents can occasionally happen.

  • Please report any suspected damage or breakage within 24 hours of service so we can investigate promptly.
  • We will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace an item we damaged, or to credit its fair market value.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, items that were already loose, unstable, or improperly mounted, or damage resulting from defective or aging materials, fixtures, or surfaces.
  • We are not responsible for damage to items you did not disclose as fragile, delicate, or specialty.
  • Sentimental value cannot be reimbursed. Please store irreplaceable items securely.

11. Cleaning Products & Surfaces

We supply standard professional cleaning products and equipment unless otherwise agreed. If you would like us to use products you provide, or to avoid specific chemicals or scents, let us know in advance. When you supply products or direct us to use a specific product on a specific surface, you accept responsibility for the results of that product on that surface.

Certain surfaces — including natural stone, unsealed grout, unfinished wood, specialty coatings, and some luxury vinyl or laminate products — require manufacturer-specific care. Please tell us about these surfaces so we can treat them appropriately or skip them.

12. Insurance & Team

RNF Cleaning carries business liability insurance. Our team members are screened before hire and trained on our service standards and safety practices. Proof of insurance is available on request.

13. Non-Solicitation of Employees

Significant time and expense goes into recruiting and training our team. You agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any current or former RNF Cleaning team member for private cleaning services, either directly or through another company, during the term of your service with us and for 12 months afterward. If you would like to hire a team member directly, contact us to discuss a placement fee.

14. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

We may decline, pause, or end service — including for existing recurring clients — where there are unsafe or unsanitary conditions, harassment or abusive treatment of our team, non-payment, a property condition materially different from what was represented, or any other circumstance that makes service impractical. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice.

15. Photos & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of cleaned areas for quality control and training. We will not publish any photo that identifies your address, personal belongings, family members, or other identifying details without your permission. You may opt out of all photography at any time by telling us in writing.

16. Communications & Text Messaging

By providing your phone number, you agree that RNF Cleaning may contact you by phone, text message, and email regarding quotes, scheduling, arrival times, service confirmations, and billing.

Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional messages necessary to deliver a service you have booked. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

17. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and the RNF Cleaning name — is the property of RNF Cleaning or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful, that attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems, that interferes with its normal operation, or that involves automated scraping or data harvesting.

18. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may link to or rely on third-party services such as scheduling platforms, payment processors, review sites, or mapping tools. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

19. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to a high standard, we do not warrant that every result will meet a subjective expectation, that all stains, buildup, odors, or discoloration can be removed, or that our website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RNF Cleaning and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost income, or loss of use, arising from our services or your use of this website.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount you paid to RNF Cleaning for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RNF Cleaning and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website, undisclosed hazards at the property, or your violation of any applicable law.

22. Dispute Resolution

If a concern arises, we ask that you contact us first at (385) 336-0136 or [email protected] so we can work toward a direct resolution. Most issues are resolved quickly with a phone call.

If a matter cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal proceeding. Any dispute that proceeds further will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreement or booking confirmation, make up the entire agreement between you and RNF Cleaning regarding our services.
